Sandhill Low Impact Logging focuses on ecologically sensitive logging operations.  Utilizing a log arch pulled by an ATV capable of carrying a 20 foot log 26 inches in diameter without the ends touching ensures scarring of the delicate forest ecosystem is avoided.  Low impact logging is great for land owners that have had extensive storm damage, would like a sustainable thinning, do not have enough land for large scale loggers to come in, do not want the impacts associated with large logging operations and would like to play a bigger part in deciding which trees should be removed.
